General
Before starting to use the machine you need to read and fully understand the manual!!!
This manual contains important information about the proper way of installing, operating and
maintaining the equipment described in this manual. When using a compressor there is a variety of
risks that may occur, resulting in personal injuries or property damage. Everyone who is involved
with the installation, maintenance or operation of the compressor must be fully familiar with the
contents of this manual. To protect yourself against personal injury or property damage you need to
follow the following information and instructions in this manual.
Every Zionair compressor is manufactured in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
Every compressor is supplied with a manual including a declaration of conformity. These must be
stored and kept up to date properly.
Because of quality reasons constant improvements are going to be made on the equipment, Zionair
reserves the right to alter specifications of the equipment described in this manual.

Safety rules
1.
Only instructed persons that are familiar with the entire contents of this manual and aware
of the risks that come with working with a compressor, are allowed to use the compressor.
2.
Connect the compressor following the instructions in this manual.
3.
Check the running direction of the compressor’s electromotor, this is shown on the
electromotor with an arrow.
4.
Before carrying out maintenance and/or repairs, always disconnect the compressor from the
power supply.
5.
Always release the pressure from the system before carrying out maintenance or repairs.
6.
Always let the machine cool down before working on it, some parts can get really hot.
7.
Only specialized persons and/or companies are allowed to connect the compressor with the
compressed air circuit.
8.
Never let the compressor run without the protective cover. Never allow kids to go near a
running compressor, the protective cover is not 100% safe. Spinning parts can be touched, so
be extra careful.
9.
Never use the compressor in the vicinity of explosive/inflammable substances and/or gases.
10.
Regularly check the compressor for damaged parts, leakages and check the functioning of
the compressor, in case you detect a possible defect immediately take the compressor out of
use and have it checked and/or repaired by a specialized company/mechanic. Contact your
Zionair retailer for carrying out maintenance and repairs. Also use only original Zionair parts
to replace defect parts.

Failure to heed these instructions may cause serious injuries and/or damage to materials.
