runs a self-test that checks all internal
components after it is switched on.
An error message is shown in case of faults.
An extended functional test can also be run in all three operating modes as
described below.
These tests should be run once a month or if there is any doubt about the
operational reliability of the device.
Stimulation current
Select program GA 00. Insert test adapter (test Patient).
The display in the bar graph must be completely full at maximum intensity.
Run the test consecutively with both channels.
Ultrasound
Select ultrasound head and cover the ultrasound head with gel. The coupling
display must show over 90% at low power and at the start of therapy.
Run the test consecutively using both ultrasound heads.
Then clean ultrasound heads.
Vacuum
Select vacuum and establish start vacuum. Short-circuit Vaco electrodes and
set maximum vacuum.
The bar graph must be completely full in continuous mode.
Vaco electrodes
Turn the Vaco electrodes to the outside so that the electrode surface is no
longer enclosed by the rubber lip and generate the vacuum.
VacoS must have steady suction.
