19.2 Neofaradic test

19

The neofaradic test indicates whether a muscle is normally innervated.

A muscle is normally innervated if it reacts with a contraction equal in length
to an excitation time of one minute.
An innervation disorder can be assumed if no contraction or only a short
contraction is observed.
