Load
START / STOP Start the load profile presently indicated in the LCD window by pressing the
“START/STOP“ button. The preset values are selected automatically.
•
Press the “START/STOP“ button to stop the load cycle and to
switch over the recovery phase automatically.
•
Press the “START/STOP“ button again to terminate the program.
Starting the
Measurement If your ergometer is provided with the blood pressure module you can start a
manual measurement of the blood pressure by pressing the “NIP“ button.
During an active load program you can initiate a manual intermediate
measurement.
This button is always active, even if the ergometer is controlled by a PC or an
ECG recorder. Please remember, that not all ECG units take over the results of
such manually initiated measurements and present them on the screen or on
paper.
Speed Range
Display
The speed of the tread crank is shown on the digital LED display.
As soon as you leave the regulated load range the display starts to
flash.
In addition, the speed of the crank is indicated by an LED trend
indicator. The green diode in the center indicates an optimum speed,
while the red LED to the right signals that the speed is too high and
the red LED to the left signals that the speed is too low.
External Control,
Button Lock ! Please note that all buttons are locked while the load is controlled
by an external unit like an ECG or PC-ECG. Only the “NIP“ button
is functional for starting a manual blood pressure measuring cycle.
This condition is indicated by the EXT light.
