Mains connector
2 x T 1.6 AL
The equipment power connector for the supply of the mains voltage from a
properly grounded medical grade wall outlet is located on the rear panel.
Only use the power cable supplied with the unit.
The power input is protected by two fuses of type "T 1.6 AL".
They may be replaced by identical fuse links only.
Potential equalization
A connector pin bearing this mark according to DIN 42801 is provided
for connecting the potential equalization cable.
Interface
The ergometer is provided with a serial interface for connecting a controlling unit.
Wiring of the DSUB9 socket:
The dielectric strength of input and output is 24 VDC.
When the ergometer is controlled by an analog voltage (pin 7) the
additional serial start of the blood pressure module is possible
(protocol 1).

Various symbols are used on the rear panel of the ergometer for easy
recognition of unit properties. They are described below:

Your ergometer is protected against electric shock in compliance
with the provisions for type B equipment.
