14. Thread the 3.25ft shockcord line (#13) through the loop in the clew strap (#8)

and tie a stopping knot towards the aft.

13. Attach the clew hook (#4) to the clew of sail.

15. Tie the shockcord line (#13) to the V-cleat fairlead on boom with a double

overhand knot. This will pull the sail when you ease the outhaul.

12. Bring the loose end forward to feed through the 18mm block (#6) hanging from

the mast. Bring the loose end downward and feed through the starboard block and

starboard cleat on the deck. Tie a stopping knot at the end of the line.
