Maintenance  

 

 

Principally maintain, clean or remedy any malfunction only at deactivated drive system and shut down motor! Remove the 
ignition key!  

 

Regularly check the nuts and screws for tight fit and retighten, if necessary! 

 

When performing maintenance at the lifted machine, always secure using suited support elements!  

 

Dispose of oils, fats and filters according to the regulations!  

 

Before performing any work at the electrical system, always separate/disconnect the power supply!  

 

If protective installations are subject to wear, these must be regularly controlled and exchanged in time! 

 

When performing electrical welding work at the vehicle and attached devices, separate the power supply via the main 
switch of the battery, respectively disconnect the cable at the generator and the battery!  

 

Spare parts must at least accord to the technical specification of the device manufacturer! This is warranted for when 
Ziegler original parts are used!  

 

When exchanging working tools equipped with blades, uses suited tools and wear protective

Unauthorised Modifications and Spare Parts  

 
Any modifications to the machine are only permitted with the prior consent of the manufacture. The use of original spare parts 
and accessories authorised by the manufacturer serve your safety! The use of other parts can lead to the expiry of any liability 
for consequential damage!

Unauthorised Operation Modes  

 
The operational safety of the delivered machine is only warranted for at intended use according to the Section Introduction 

– In-

tended Use of these operating instructions. The limit values depicted in the technical data sheets may strictly not be exceeded!

Introduction 

 
The ZIEGLER- attachment device/header is equipped with all safety installations (protective installations). However, in order to 
maintain the function of the machine, it is not possible to completely secure the machine as such! According warning shields are 
placed on the machine. These refer to the residual risks. The warnings were performed in form of warning symbols. In regard to 
the position of these warning shields and their meaning, you will find important information on the following pages.

Safety Notices at the Machine  

 

The safety notices at the machine warn of the residual risks at the machine. These consist of warning symbols and the occupa-
tional safety symbol. All safety notices must be complied with. Safety notices must be maintained in clear and readable condi-
tion. Request for any damaged or missing notices at your authorised dealer and replace the same at the respectively intended

Immediately exchange any missing or damaged stickers.  

 

After repair work, place safety stickers on all exchanged, modified or repaired components.  

 

Do not clean sections which are marked with a safety sticker with a high-pressure cleaner.  

 

Get acquainted with the meaning of the warning symbols. The text next to these and the selected 
position at the machine indicate the special hazard areas at the machine.
