33. Cross-Auger

Header Equipment
For the safe operation of the machine, a series of overload fuses
and slipping clutches are provided for.
If these installations trigger, immediately shut down
the header!
Also shut down the diesel motor of the thresher and
secure the picker against unintentional lowering!
Search for the cause and remedy the same.
Never attempt to get the header to turn again by shuting the same
down and starting again.

If the slipping clutch responds, shut down the machine immediate-
ly and search for the cause.
Lacking torque of the coupling can not be the cause for the re-
sponse.
Regularly lubricate and tension the chain drive.
34. Working Angle Adjustment

Working angle (standard setting)
If smaller or larger tyres as the standard tyres are mounted, it is
recommended to control the working angle. The same also applies
to crawler chassis.
Preferably, the control should be performed under realistic de-
ployment conditions on the field and the usual clearance to the
ground.
