otherwise replacement is necessary.
5.2.5 Replacement, installation and commissioning of diaphragm
1) Disassemble the pump head (cylinder head)
2) Remove the old or damaged diaphragm and replace it with a new one.
3) Tighten cylinder pressure nuts in diagonal manner, able to make equal force of diaphragm.
4) Oil refill and test of diaphragm chambe, refers to IV :4.6
5.2.6 Cleaning of oil makeup valve
1) Unscrew the drain plug on the bottom of the hydraulic oil tank, and reassemble and tighten it after
transformer oil is emptied from the oil tank.
2) After the oil makeup valve components are screwed off with wrench, it is observed that the oil makeup
valve is equipped with a circular filter. Clean the filter with a brush in kerosene.
3) Pour clean transformer oil back into the hydraulic tank;
4)
Fill oil into the diaphragm chamber: unscrew the exhaust safety valve, fill hydraulic oil from the bottom of
mounting hole of the unscrewed safety valve and stop filling until hydraulic oil overflows from the orifice;
and then reassemble the exhaust safety valve assembly (note: it is unnecessary to take the exhaust safety
valve to pieces for disassembly and reassembly);
5)
Adjust the adjusting handwheel until the pointer is at 50% of the relative stroke, start the metering pump
and obverse its working conditions, and readjust the adjusting handwheel to the required position after
approximately 3min.
5.2.7 Replacement or cleaning of inlet and outlet one-way valves
1)
Remove the inlet and outlet valve flanges as shown in Figure 3, and take out the valve sleeve, valve ball
and valve seat for replacement, cleaning and inspection; make sure that the surface of valve ball and seal of
valve seat orifice are free of pit or damage;
2)
Upon completion, reassemble the inlet and outlet one-way valve parts such as pressure valve flanges as
shown in Figure 3, and take out the valve sleeve, valve ball and valve seat; the one-way valve shall have
check functions, and shall be properly installed, otherwise the liquid is impossibly discharged.
