Connecting
a
Ground
Cable
To
ensure
personal
and
equipment
safety
equipment
(lightning
protection
and
resistance
against
interference),
ground
the
device
properly.
The
ground
cable
must
not
exceed
30m
and
provide
a
grounding
resistance
of
less
than
5
Ω
.
For
specific
requirements,
refer
to
the
standards
for
the
IEC61024
series.
As
shown
in
the
following
figure
connect
one
end
of
the
ground
cable
to
the
ground
terminal
of
the
device
and
the
other
end
to
a
reliable
grounding
point.
