13. 4 Piston

13. 4. 1 Disassembly
Remove the piston retaining ring.
Attention: During removal, do not fall the retaining
ring into crankcase.
Take out the piston pin and remove the piston.

Remove the piston ring.

Check piston, piston pin and piston ring.
Attention:    do not break or damage the piston ring.
Clear the accumulated carbon within the piston ring.

Install the piston ring.

Measure clearance between the piston ring and its
slot.

Allowable limit: Top ring: 0. 09mm

Ring 2

0. 09mm

Remove the piston ring and install the piston rings at
the bottom of cylinder.

Attention: use the piston head to press the piston ring
into the cylinder.
Measure piston ring closure clearance

Allowable limit: 0. 5mm.
