Layout
(Decode Only)

Determines layout to use for displaying multiple
pictures. In most cases 1x1 is used. 2x2 can be used
when four channels are decoded simultaneously.
Other configurations are possible (see Note 2).
Set Display
(Decode Only)
If a display mode, resolution, or layout different
from the default is desired, the user would change
to the desired value and then click the “Set
Display” button. The user should also click this
before doing the very first decode.
Set Device Name
Sets a custom name for the Z3-SME-01.
Set Password
Sets the system password. See Section 9.4, “ Using
the Password Feature” on page 47 for more details.
Update device firmware
See Section 9.3, “Making a Firmware Update” on
page 46.
Download device logs
Clicking this causes the Z3-SME-01 to extract a set
of diagnostic logs that can be sent to Z3 Technology
in the event of an issue to be reported. This file is
saved on the PC which the GUI is being run from.
View logs
Allows viewing of a debug log. This is a feature
added for Z3 troubleshooting.
Reboot
Click to restart the unit.
