Front Panel - FXE
The front panel must be removed to gain access to the 12 volt fuse
center.
Removing the front panel
1. Remove the seat. See “Seat Removal - FXE”, on page 6.23 .
2. Remove the left and right side panels. See “Side Panel -
FXE”, on page 6.24 .
3. Remove two T25 Torx bolts (A) securing front panel to frame.
Torque - 3.5 lb·ft (5 Nm).
4. Remove two 8mm nuts (B) and collect washers securing
front panel to frame. Torque - 3.5 lb·ft (5 Nm).
5. Remove two cross-head screws (C) securing front panel to
frame.
6. Remove six 3mm Hex head bolts and collect washers
securing close-out panel to front panel. Torque - 2 lb·ft
(3 Nm).
7. Remove front panel.
Installing the front panel
1. Installation of the front panel is the reverse of the removal
procedure.
