Wiring Outputs.
WARNING
DO NOT REMOVE THE ANY PANELS
WITHOUT DISCONNECTING THE
CONTOUR FROM THE MAINS
SUPPLY FIRST
Remove the front cover by removing the two
screws at the bottom of the unit then lift the
cover off.
Remove the two screws to allow the control
section to be lowered on to its retaining strap,
DO NOT LET IT FALL.
The Output terminals are on the left. Channel
one is on the left the lower set of terminals are
Neutrals, Live in the middle Earth at the top.
Various knockouts are provided on the top of
the unit for wiring. Twelve PG16 knockouts can
be used for individual cables or the two PG21
or 32MM knockouts for multi cores. Strain relief
bushes or glands must be used ( Not Supplied).
Once all wiring is completed check all screws
are tight.
Check no stray wiring and tools have been left
in the unit before lifting the control section and
re-securing it.
IMPORTANT NOTE
The dimmers outputs MUST NOT be megger
tested.
To check the installation wiring remove the
dimmer form circuit first.
Cable Glands
Various cable gland knockouts are provided.
(Glands not supplied)
3x 50 MM For mains connection.
2x 32 MM For load multi cores
2x PG21 For load multi core
12x PG16 For individual cables to loads
Supply Connection
The following mains supply cable sizes are
recommended:
Contour 10 AMP 10 mm

five core cable.
Contour 16AMP 16 mm
2
five core cable.
Maximum cable size 35 mm
