HOW TO USE ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE?
Method 1: Application to General Area
With this method the user simply places the ELECTROACUPUNCTURE device on the general area
of the pain, ache or tension, and begins application according to the following procedure:
1. Turn the device on with the on/off button on the side.
2. Temporarily select a pulse intensity level by turning the regulator knob to low, while holding
the ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE device in your hand.
3. Place the pulsating ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE device on the area of your body where you feel
pain, aches or tension (carefully avoiding the areas and conditions noted above in the WARNING
section), and stimulate the selected area with rotating motions.
4. Now determine the correct pulse intensity for you by slowly turning the regulator knob,
stopping when you feel a tickling sensation. This sensation, which should be comfortable for
you to tolerate, indicates that you have arrived at the correct level of intensity for you.
The intensity can be increased or decreased during an application in response to a
change in sensation. It is recommended to use the high intensity level only with circular motions.
5. Stimulate the selected area with the device, preferably using
rotating motions lightly over the skin, for 3 to 7 minutes (longer
application time is possible if desired). As noted, it is not
necessary to apply the ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE directly to the
exact spot since the device will seek and find the correct point. Do
not press the ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE deep into the skin as it
may cause irritation.
6. If an ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE application is begun at the onset
of a specific pain, ache or tension, relief is generally achieved
following just one application. Repeat applications are recommended if the pain returns.
In cases of longterm and/or chronic pains, better relief response is achieved on a cumulative
basis, with a gradually increasing period of time between each application.
NOTE: A slight redness may appear during or after use but should disappear after a short period
of time.
Method 2: Application to Classic Acupuncture Points
With this method the user places the ELECTRO-ACUPUNCTURE device on or near a specific
acupuncture point, which, according to the ancient science of acupuncture described above,
controls the well being of a certain part of the body. As can be seen in the drawings on the following
pages, the classic acupuncture point may, in some cases, not even be near the part of the body that
is in pain. If this method is chosen, the user should study the relevant drawings prior to selecting the
classic acupuncture point to be used for an application. The procedure for application according to
Method No.2 is the same as that described above for Method No.1. Note that with Method No.2 it
is also not necessary to locate the precise classic acupuncture point.The user needs only to apply
the device to the general area of the selected classic acupuncture point leaving the location of the
exact spot to ELECTROACUPUNCTURE device’s BIO-FEEDBACK capability.
