It may be necessary to create a cut-
out in the bumper.
NOTE.
1 Dismantle the spare wheel and
associated mounts and ladder. Any
towing hook must also be removed.
2 Install outer and inner chassis
brackets in the vehicle chassis. Use
four M12x100 screws (out of a total
of nine). See Fig 24.
3 Install the spacer tubes. See Fig 25.

4 Drill a Ø12.5 hole in the frame from
the outside and inside, using the
outer and inner chassis brackets as
a template. See Fig 26.
5 Apply rustproofing agent in the
drilled hole.
6 Install the remaining 5 x M12x100
screws (out of a total of nine)
through the frame as well as M12
M6MF nyloc nuts. Tighten all 9
screws with the aid of a torque
wrench. See Fig 27. Tightening
torque 80 Nm
7 Install the lift, see "7.2 Installing the
lift" on page 50.
8 Install the platform, see "7.3 Install-
ing the Platform" on page 51.
