SETTING THE DATE
FOR THE EQUATION OF TIME
The date indicator is located on the back of the
watch. To set the equation of time if the watch
has been stopped for more than a day, hold the
watch in your hand and turn it over so that the
crown is located on the left. The date is set on the
equation of time using the corrector located at
2 o'clock. Each press on the corrector produces
a day correction. Rotate the graduated disc until
the correct date is shown opposite the index. The
disc is divided into large divisions separating the
months, intermediate divisions indicating ten-day
periods and small divisions each covering 5 days.
Example: to indicate 28 th August, move the disc
forward until the 25
th
August division is located
opposite the index and press the corrector three
times to move to the 28
th
.
