To shut down the power supply in case of motor overheating, the equipment is provided, as standard, with thermal protectors into the stator win-
dings (see point 4.4) .
It is mandatory that the user connect thermal protectors with a tripping unit in the control panel set in a way to avoid the automa-
tic restart of the equipment.
Supply through inverter: thermal protectors must be properly connected to control panel in order to shut down the power supply
in the event of overheating.
Grey pumps are equipped with a leakage probe to detect the entrance of water in the oil chamber (mechanical seals compartment).
The leakage probe must be electrically connected in accordance with instructions of point 4.5.
Bolts and fasteners used must be Class A2-70, A2-A80, A4-70 or A4-80 according to EN ISO 3506-1
The -Ex version pump can be used in duty type S3 according to S3% value marked on the dataplate as for the following chart

1.11 Manufacturer’s Warranty
ZENIT warrants that pump will function according to design parameters whether the customer will observe the requirements of operating docu-
mentation in force. The warranty on individual parts is 12 months from the date of shipment.
ZENIT undertakes to repair or replace the product if failures are due to design, manufacturing and assembly defects and are reported to Zenit
during the warranty period.
The warranty does not cover failures due to:
•
normal wear and tear;
•
improper handling, installation and use;
•
use with incorrectly connected control systems;
•
work done by unskilled staff;
•
use of non-genuine spare parts.
CAUTION
Any modifications made to the product without the manufacturer’s authorisation may cause hazards and lead to a deterio-
ration in performance and loss of warranty cover.
