4. Cleaning the spark plug
• Screw out the plug.
• Clean the plug with a hard plastic brush.
• Check the electrode gap. The correct gap should be between 0.7-0.8 mm.
• Install the plug into its place.
ATTENTION: Do not start the engine with the spark plug screwed out. To
check the spark use a special tester.
5. Cleaning the muffler spark arrester
• Remove the muffler spark arrester.
• Clean the muffler spark arrester with a hard plastic brush.
• Install the muffler spark plug in its place.
6. Cleaning the air filter.
• Remove the air filter cover and the filter.
• Rinse the filter in warm soap water.
• Then rinse in clean water, squeeze it and dry.
• Install the filter in its place.
ATTENTION: Do not start the engine with the air filter removed.
7. Cleaning the fuel and oil filters.
• Turn off the engine and let it cool.
• Remove the receiver tube with a thin cord with a hook.
• Carefully remove the filters and wash them in solvent.
• Clean the filers with cotton cloth.
• Install the filters in their places, making sure they are located in the lower corner of
the tank.
8. Regularly check the drive sprocket wear, which should not be more than 0.5 mm. In
case of greater wear replace the sprocket.
9. Regularly clean the guide bar and check its wear.
10. For even wear and to increase the operating life the guide bar should be regularly
turned over.
11. Chain sharpening requires special skills and tools. That is why it should be
performed by qualified specialists.
• If you are sure you can sharpen the chain by yourself, you can purchase all necessary
tools in specialized stores.
