CAN BUS
CAN is short for Controller Area Network that is an international standard of bus protocol for automobile. You can control the playback
and status of the DVD player in your car using the keys on the steering wheel or instrument panel.
Please connect the CAN BOx with the moniceiver correctly according to the ‚Electrical Connections Overall Diagram‘ before using.
Because of the different number and function of keys on the steering wheel or instrument panel due to different automobiles, not all these
functions supported by this unit are available.
1.
Volume control
. Press repeatedly or press and hold the volume up/down key on the on the steering wheel or instrument panel to
control the level of system volume.
2.
Mute
. Press the mute key on the steering wheel or instrument panel to mute the volume from the unit.
3.
Track selecting
. Press the track up/down key on the steering wheel or instrument panel to play the next or previous track when a
DVD, MP3 or WMA disc is playing.
4.
Fast forward/reverse
. Press and hold the track up/down on the steering wheel or instrument panel to start fast forward/reverse.
5.
auto seek
. Press the track up/down key on the steering wheel or instrument panel to seek up/down under radio mode.
6.
source selecting
. Press the source key repeatedly on the steering wheel or instrument panel to change between the different playing
source.
7.
Telephone function
. Under standby mode, press the phone key on the steering wheel or instrument panel to start voice dial, press
and hold to re-dial the last call number. When one call is coming in, press the key to answer the call, press and hold to refuse the call.
Under dialing or talking, press or press and hold the key to hang up.
8.
unit power
. The unit turns on automatically once you switch on the ignition of your car. It turns off automatically once you switch off
the ignition of your car.
9.
illumination control
. The brightness of the TFT and the backlight of the keys on the front panel of the unit will dim once you turn on
the illumination of your car.
10.
Rearview video camera input control
. The unit switches to CAMERA mode upon reverse driving.
11.
Parking brake
. To ensure safe driving, the unit displays warning picture during driving once the driver or passenger in the front seats
tries to watch video files or pictures.
