1
Pull out the lower basket, unscrew and remove the lid of the salt container.
1
2
Before first washing pour 0.5 liter of water to the salt container of the dishwasher.
3
Place the end of the funnel (enclosed) in the orifice and add ca. 1 kg of salt.
It is completely ordinary, if a small amount of water comes out of the salt container.
2
4
After filling in the container screw its lid tight in a clockwise direction.
5
Usually the salt warning indicator turns off after 2-6 days after filling the container
with salt.
6
Immediately after filling in the container with salt, you should turn a washing program on.
(We advise to use the Rapid program). Otherwise the filtration system, the pump and other
important parts may be damaged by the salty water. If such an event occurs, it is not
covered by the guarantee.
ATTENTION!
1
The salt container should be filled only when the indicator on the control panel
is on.
Depending on the level the salt has dissolved, the indicator might be still on
despite the salt has been added.
2
If the salt scatters, you should turn on the Rapid program to remove salt
remains.
C
FILLING UP THE SHINER DISPENSER
Shiner dispenser
A shiner is released during the last rinsing in order to prevent any water drops from staining
the dishes. It also facilitates the process of drying, making the water flow down from the
surfaces. The dishwasher is designed for liquid shiners. The shiner dispenser is placed
inside the door, next to the detergent dispenser. In order to fill in the dispenser, unscrew
the lid and pour the washing liquid (shiner) into the dispenser until the level indicator turns
completely black. The capacity of the shiner dispenser is ca. 110 ml.
ATTENTION! Use only quality liquid for dishwashers. Never pour other substances
(e.g. washing creams, liquid detergents) into the shiner dispenser. This will cause
irreparable damage to the dishwasher.
When to fill in the shiner dispenser
If there is no warning indicator for the shiner on the control panel, you may estimate the
amount of the liquid by the color of the level optical indicator situated next to the lid. When
the container is full, the indicator will be pure black. When the amount of liquid drops, the
dark dot will decrease as well. Do not let the amount of shiner liquid to drop below ¼.
Before use
Before you use the dishwasher for the first time:
A
Adjust the water softener.
B
Pour half of liter of water to the salt container, and fill with dishwasher salt.
C
Fill in the shiner dispenser.
D
Fill in the detergent.
A
WATER SOFTENER
The dishwasher is equipped with a water softening system. Water softener should be
adjusted manually by water hardness dial. Water softener is designed to remove minerals
and salts that may be harmful or unfavorable towards the device. The water softener
should be adjusted to the level of water hardness. To check water hardness you should
contact your local water supplier or determine the level by purchasable test straps.
Salt use adjustment
The dishwasher is designed in such a way as to enable you to adjust the amount of salt
used based on water hardness. This option optimizes and adapts the level of salt needed
in the process.
In order to adjust the use of salt, follow
the instructions below:
1
Unscrew the lid of the salt container.
2
The container has a ring with an
arrow on it (see the figure on the left). If
necessary turn the ring counterclockwise
from “–” to “+”, depending on water
hardness. To facilitate adjusting you may
use a flat screwdriver.
We advise you to make any adjustments
according to the table below:

Contact your local water supplier to confirm water hardness.
ATTENTION! If your model does not include water softening system, you can skip
this chapter.
Water softener
Water hardness depends on placing. Hard water used in dishwashing results in residues
on dishes and cutlery.
Our device has a special water softener with a uniquely designer salt container for
removing lime and minerals coming from water.
B
ADDING SALT TO THE SOFTENER
Always use only dishwasher salt.
The salt container is placed below the lower basket and should be filled as described
below.
Use only dishwasher salt! Any other kind of salt, not suitable for dishwashing,
●
especially table salt, will destroy the softener. In case of any damage to the softener
caused by the use of unsuitable salt, the producer/importer waives any guarantee
and bears no responsibility for such use.
Salt should be added only before starting one of the washing programs. This will
●
ensure that no salt crystals or any amount of salt solution, which may spill out, will
remain on the bottom of the dishwasher, thus preventing any corrosion.
