Product description
The appliance is intended for household use only. The
warranty conditions change if the appliance is used in
gastronomic business.
Zelmer induction hob is designated to cook and heat
food products. It operates based on the principle of the
electromagnetic induction. Magnetic
fi
led which creates
rotary currents is generated between the hob surface and the
induction utensil. The
fl
ow of such currents causes to utensil
as well as the food products inside the utensil to heat.
The induction hob may only be used with pans and
cooking pots designated for induction cooking.
The generation of the magnetic
fi
led depends on the material
of the pot underside.
The selection of utensils marked by this
symbol on the underside or the
packaging ensures that the utensils are designated for use
with the induction hob.
It is recommended to use Zelmer pans and pots
designated for use with induction hobs.
The advantages of induction:
Very short heating time. The removal of the utensil from
●
the hob automatically stops the heating.
After placing the utensil again on the hob (within
●
a minute), the hob will automatically restart heating.
Fast reaction upon the change of power.
●
Lack of open
fl
ame and glowing elements considerably
●
reduces
fi
re risk.
The heat is generated only in the pot thanks to which the
●
energy is used solely for cooking purposes.
Lower energy consumption.
●
Shorter cooking time.
●
The additional BOOSTER function considerably shortens
the cooking time.
In case of the ZPI6012UE model, this function is available for
two heating zones I and III.
In case of the ZPI6014UE model, this function is available for
all four heating zones.

and all indicators will light for about 1 second – it means that
the induction hob is in the standby mode.
Selection of utensils
The induction hob detects if the utensil placed on the heating
zone is suitable for use with the appliance.
1
Place the utensil on the heating zone.
2
If the indicator shows the symbol “ ”, the utensil is not
suitable for use with the induction hob.
3
If it is possible to operate the appliance after setting the
power level, it means that the utensil may be used with the
hob.
Make sure that the bottom of the utensil is
fl
at and that
its diameter must be at least equal to the diameter of the
heating zone used.
You may use a magnet to check of the utensil is suitable
for use with the induction hob. If the magnet “attaches”
to the bottom of the utensil, it may be used for induction
cooking.
