* It is recommended to use Zelmer cleaning agents. The use of unsuitable cleaning agents as well
as irregular descaling can lead to faults that are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Des-
caler contains acids which may irritate the skin and eyes. It is vital to respect the manufacturer’s
safety warnings given on the descaler pack and the warnings relating to the procedure to follow in
the event of contact with the skin and eyes.

Drip tray is not correctly inserted.
Remove and insert the drip tray into the
coffee maker again.
Proceed as indicated in section “Emptying

Coffee grounds collector is full and has
not been emptied.
The coffee maker is blocked.
Empty grounds collector.
Proceed as indicated in section “Emptying
coffee grounds collector”.

Close the door.

Install the brewing unit.

Brewing unit blocked
Unplug the coffee maker for about 30
seconds, plug it in again and switch the
coffee maker on.
Air in system.
Place a container underneath the steam and
coffee outlet nozzle.
Touch the icon
Air removing process will start automatically.
Important: make sure there is enough water
in the tank
8. TROUBLE SHOOTING

Water filter not correctly rinsed or

Prepare the filter correctly, see section

Replace the filter every 2 months.
Grind setting is too fine
Change grind setting to coarser
