Installing/deinstalling the CYKLON dust
container
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a removable CYKLON
dust container (which is a removable part of the vacuum
cleaner) responsible for collecting dirt. After the CYKLON
dust container is full, it has to be emptied.
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a safety
valve situated in the chamber of the CYKLON
dust container. It opens up automatically when
the suction hose or any elements attached to
it are completely clogged up, and when the
CYKLON dust container is overfilled. After the
valve is open, you will hear a characteristic
fluttering in the vacuum cleaner.
1
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a CYKLON dust
container fill indicator
(6)
, and it lights on if the vacuum
cleaner is on (working at full power, and the nozzle or brush
is over the cleaned surface), when there is the need to empty
the CYKLON dust container. The CYKLON dust container fill
indicator
(6)
may also be on when the suction hose or other
accessories linked to it are clogged up.
2
Press the on/off button
(4)
to stop the vacuum cleaner.
3
Remove the plug of the cord from the socket.
4
Press the button situated on the end of the hose, and
remove the end of the hose from the inlet of the vacuum
cleaner.
5
Simultaneously press both CYKLON dust container
unlocking buttons
(8)
, and remove the CYKLON dust
container
(18)
from the vacuum cleaner by holding the
handgrip
(10)
.
6
Move the CYKLON dust container over a dustbin. Press
the button situated on the CYKLON dust container – the
bottom of the container opens, and its content falls into the
dustbin.
7
After emptying the container, snap its bottom shut. Pay
attention that the seal on the bottom of the container remains
correctly placed.
The container needs to be precisely shut.
Otherwise, dust is going to get into the chamber
of the vacuum cleaner, and the suction power
is going to decrease.
8
Place the emptied CYKLON dust container into the
vacuum cleaner. A characteristic “click” signalizes the
container has been properly installed.
It is necessary to empty the CYKLON dust container, if you
notice that:
a) the CYKLON full dust container indicator is on,
b) the vacuum cleaner works less efficiently,
c) the CYKLON dust container is full.
C
Deinstalling the filters
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with the CYKLON dust
container based on cyclone filtration, making it possible to
use the vacuum cleaner without a dust bag. A cyclone filter
uses air stream swirling to separate solid dirt. Separation
of dirt is done in an O-shaped part of the container, where
the swirling air casts away dirt on the wall of the container.
This pre-filtered air is directed into the foam inlet filter and
washable HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) inlet filter.
A special filtering material used in the HEPA inlet filter makes
it possible to rinse the filter with running water, if it is dirty,
and reuse it later.
In case of getting the foam inlet filter (17), the
HEPA inlet filter (16), the foam outlet filter (14)
dirty, you can replace them, clean them or rinse
them with running water.
It is forbidden to wash filters in washing
machines or dishwashers.
Filters may be dried only naturally.
Do not use hairdryers, heaters or radiators to
dry filters.
Before replacing the filters make sure the
vacuum cleaner is off, and the plug of the cord
is unplugged from the socket.
HEPA INLET FILTER AND FOAM INLET FILTER
It is necessary to periodically clean the HEPA inlet filter and
the foam inlet filter to remove small fractions of dust.
Remove the CYKLON dust container and empty it, as
described in para.
C
.
1
Remove the HEPA inlet filter
(16)
from the CYKLON dust
container.
2
Remove the foam inlet filter
(17)
. If the foam inlet filter
(17)
is dirty, you may replace it with a new one, clean it or
rinse it with running water. Before reinstalling the filter, make
sure it is dry.
The main function of the foam inlet filter
(17)
is to protect the
HEPA inlet filter
(16)
against excessive dirt.
For safety reasons it is unacceptable to install
a wet or damaged foam inlet filter (17).
Clean the pleats of the HEPA inlet filter
●
(16)
, and if the
filter is damaged, it should definitely be replaced with
a new one. If the HEPA inlet filter
(16)
is dirty, you may
replace it with a new one, clean it or rinse it with running
water. Before reinstalling the filter, make sure it is dry.
For safety reasons it is unacceptable to install
a wet or damaged HEPA inlet filter (16).
Situate the new/rinsed foam inlet filter in the previously
●
determined spot.
3
Place the new/rinsed HEPA inlet filter
(16)
in the
previously determined spot in the dust container.
