Insulation
Before starting it up, measure the insulation resistance between elements.
••••
Microwave Leakage
Measure the microwave leakage as specified in the earlier paragraph. The maximum value of the microwave leakage
for each of the measurement locations must not exceed 1 mW/cm
2
.
••••
Heating using microwaves
Place a measuring cylinder with 250 ml of water in the centre of the turntable. Close the door; set the appliance at its
average power and adjust the cooking time to 3-4 minutes. After the time expires, open the oven door, the water
should be boiled.

Defrosting using microwaves
Place a measuring cylinder with 200 ml of water in the centre of the turntable. Close the door; set the appliance at its
average power and adjust the cooking time to 4 minutes. After the time expires, open the oven door, the water should
be lukewarm
PERFORMANCE OF SERVICE WORKS FOR CRITICAL DEFECTS
When it is found that the microwave radiation level of the microwave oven exceeds 1 mW/cm2, you shall
proceed as follows:
•
Notify a distributor or manufacturer about the measurement results (make appropriate entries.)
•
Keep the oven at your facility and notify the owner that the oven shall not be operated until its repair is
completed.
•
Determine the cause of excessive leakage.
•
Repair and check the appliance.
In the case when the oven operates with the door open, you shall:
•
Notify a distributor or manufacturer about the measurement results (make appropriate entries)
•
Keep the oven at your facility and notify the owner that the oven shall not be operated until its repair is
completed
Replacing and adjusting the safety interlock assembly.
If you suspect that one of the micro-switches is defected, use an ohmmeter to check electrical conductance.
Before performing the test, make sure that the connection cable plug is removed from the outlet and the capacitor is
discharged.
•
Set the ohmmeter to "low resistance" measuring range and connect both wires (using crocodile clips) to
the switch terminals.
•
Open the door and check the meter reading, with the door open - for both micro-switches, the reading shall
be "infinity." When the door is open, for the monitor micros-witch, the reading shall be "zero or near-zero."
When the door is closed, the readings shall be opposite.
If the oven is considered to be inoperable due to a damage of one of the micro-switches, replace both in-
terlock micro-switches and the monitor micro-switch.
ASSEMBLY OF THE MICROWAVE OVEN, TYPE 29Z024.
In general, the assembly of microwave ovens is made in reverse order of the disassembly, but you shall pay special
attention to the proper execution of certain actions:
When installing the magnetron (48), check
•
if the copper wire mesh of the magnetron (48) antenna was correctly placed. Never mount the magnetron
without this mesh, as this can cause lack of proper grounding of the magnetron and microwave oven, and
lead to a large microwave leakage;
•
if the magnetron was firmly tightened to the cavity.
Electrical connections shall be made strictly according to the scheme of electrical connections.
Electrical cables should be conducted so as not to come into contact with moving parts of the fan and hot parts of the
magnetron.
