POTENTIAL FAILURES OF MICROWAVE OVENS

When starting the
oven, the lamp is not
on, the turntable does
not rotate and the food
is not heated.
1.1. Broken door latch.
Replace the latch for new one.
1.2. Blown fuse 10A of the interference
eliminator.
Replace the fuse for new one.
1.3. Damaged connection cable or
internal electrical connections.
Remove the case, check the connection cable and
internal wiring and connections. Remove any defect
or replace cables/wires. Make the connections
according to the wiring diagram.
1.4. The monitor switch does not open
the circuit .
Replace the monitor switch for new one.
1.5. The interlock switches do not close.
Replace the interlock switches for new ones.
1.6. Short-circuited primary or secondary
transformer winding.
Replace the transformer for new one.
1.7. Short-circuited capacitor poles or
capacitor break down.
Replace the capacitor for new one.

When starting the
oven, the lamp is on,
the turntable rotates
but the food is not
heated.
2.1. Disconnected connector terminal.
Connect the connector terminal.
2.2. Damaged control panel.
Replace the PCB of the control panel.
2.3. Open-circuited primary or secondary
transformer winding.
Replace the transformer for new one.
2.4. Open-circuited magnetron circuit,
damaged magnetron.
Replace the magnetron for new one.

The food is heated but
the lamp is not on.
3.1. Disconnected connector terminal.
Connect the connector terminal.
3.2. Damaged lamp.
Replace the lamp for new one.

The food is heated but
the turntable does not
rotate.
4.1. Damaged turntable support.
Replace the turntable support for new one.
4.2. Disconnected connector terminal.
Connect the connector terminal.
4.3. Damaged turntable motor.
Replace the turntable motor.

The oven can heat
food for 2-3 minutes,
but not for 4 minutes
and longer.
5.1. Open-circuited fan motor winding. Replace the fan motor.
5.2. Damaged fan. Replace the fan.
5.3. Disconnected connector terminal. Connect the connector terminal.
5.4. Locked fan shaft at its bearing. Remove the cause or replace the part for new one.
5.5. Locked fan. Remove the cause or replace the part for new one.

Strong microwave
leakage
6.1. Deformed door. Replace the door.
6.2. Cracked door metal mesh. Replace the door.
6.3. The door gap is too large. Adjust the gap.
6.4. Damaged welds of the oven. Replace the cavity case for new one.
6.5. Loosen screw mounting the
magnetron.
Tighten the screw.

The door cannot be
open.
7.1. After long-term usage, the wear of the
door hinge pin and hinge pin hole caused
the gap to enlarge, and the door to deform.
Adjust the hinge or door positioning.
7.2. Damaged door latch. Replace the latch.
