AURA handheld NIR
1 Safety instructions
The AURA handheld NIR has been designed and tested in compliance
with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU due to the built-in
WiFi adapter and left the factory in a faultless state. The RED-Directive
includes the general requirements according to Safety and Electromagnetic
Compatibility EMC.
The safety requirements according Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2014/35/EU
are tested in compliance with DIN EN 61010-1 for the device and with
DIN EN 60950-1 for built-in components and accessories from other
manufactures.
The electromagnetic compatibility requirements according to EMC-
Directive 2014/30/EU are tested in compliance with DIN EN 61326-1 and
ETSI EN 301 489-1.
To maintain the faultless state and ensure safe operation, all instructions
and warning notes in this manual must be followed.
The AURA handheld NIR with standard handle (2289-971) meets the
degree of protection IP 54 and protection class III.
The AURA handheld NIR with slanted handle (2289-955) meets the degree
of protection IP 54 (front side only) and protection class III.

marking.
