4.7 Maintenance of the condensation drain:
Check the condensation drain at least once every two years

Disconnect the condensation drain.
Perform the following checks on the
condensation drain siphon:
■
Check whether the drain is still open by
pouring water in the siphon;
■
Visually inspect the condensation drain for
contamination;
■
Check whether the seal of the condensation
drain is airtight. Air may not pass along or
through the siphon.
Resolve any problems detected.
4.8 Maintenance of the air ducts
Check the air ducts at least once every two years

Remove the valves.
Zehnder recommends writing down the
settings and the positions.
Check the air ducts for the following:
■
Contamination (dirt and grease);
■
Air leakages (loose connections);
■
Resistance (bends, dents and blocked valves);
■
Valves.
Resolve any problems detected.

Re-install parts
in reverse order.
Reconnect the unit to the
mains power.
Check the correct functioning of the unit through
a system test (MENU> Login> SYSTEM TEST).
Fill in the maintenance logbook (if present).
An example of a maintenance logbook can be
found in the user manual.
During installation:
■
Tighten all screws hand-tight (max. 1.5 Nm);
■
Check whether the insulation cover is properly located behind the front cover. To do this, insert the middle screw through the front
cover and the recess in the insulation cover.
■
Place the bottom edge of the front cover behind the raised edge of the bottom plate.
This guarantees that the unit is airtight after the screws have been tightened.
