Due to the risk of confusion, chemicals required for disinfection or
cleaning must be stored, prepared and made available exclusively
in the prepared and kept ready in the containers provided for this
purpose.
The instructions of the detergent and disinfectant manufacturers
with regard to concentration, temperature, immersion time and
rinsing must be observed.

7.4.2 Manual disinfection
The facebow and mandibular sensor can be disinfected by wiping with suitable solutions.
The disinfection of the facebow and mandibular sensor is carried out in the switched-off state
unplugged from the charger or USB cable, with a cloth moistened with disinfectant solution.
Recommended disinfectant
Composition approx. 25% ethanol, 35% propanol e.g. Mikrozid Wipes (cleaning cloths soaked with
Mikrozid) / Schülke & Mayr, or comparable.
7.4.3 Manual cleaning
Electrical components
●
Cleaning of system and electrical components (head bow, lower jaw sensor, IR foot control)
only when they are switched off and the charger or USB cable is disconnected or USB cable
with a damp cloth.
Pre-cleaning before sterilization
●
Before sterilization, clean the consumables manually under running water
(drinking water quality, 30 °C ± 5 °C (86°F ± 9°F), flow rate 2 liters/min) for 30 seconds with
a medium-hard toothbrush .
●
Perform sterilization immediately after cleaning.
