Transmitter Remote Control Enable
When transmitter remote control is enabled the QRX235 can be used to remotely change the gain, UHF
frequency and power level of the corresponding transmitter in addition to changing the transport status of the
onboard recorder. Please note the QRX235 will need to have a QIFB option board installed for it to control TRX
transmitters.
Serial Port
The serial port menu sets the function of the serial port on the QRX.
•
OFF - No commands will be communicated to the serial port.
•
ZAXLAN QRX
- The QRX will communicate with other QRX receivers, via the serial port.
•
BLUE TOOTH - This setting allows a QRX235 with QIFB will interface to communicate with a ZaxMote blue
tooth dongle via the serial port.
Time Code Source
This menu is only available when the QIFB board is installed.
The time code source menu selects the source of external time code the QRX will use.
•
OFF
- The QRX235 will use and output time code received via ZaxNet or from the internal time code generator.
•
ON - The QRX235 will use and output the time code that is embed in the UHF signal received from a Zaxcom
transmitter.
Output Routing
This menu is only available when the QRX is set to single receive mode.
The output routing menu sets the output assignments of the TA5 connectors when the QRX is set to single mode
and is receiving a signal from a stereo transmitter.
OUTPUT ROUTING:
C1 = L C2 = R
OUTPUT ROUTING:
C1 = L R
The left output will be on TA5 connector 1 and
the right output will be on TA5 connector 2
Both the LEFT and RIGHT outputs will be on
both TA5 connector 1 and TA5 connector 2
