CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always switch off the vacuum cleaner and unplug it
from the charger and the mains before carrying out
any maintenance or cleaning.
Emptying the dust tank:
Remember to remove any accessories from the
suction head.
Place the appliance on top of a dustbin, press the
release button on the dust container so that dust and
dirt fall into the bin. Close the dust tank by pushing
the suction head upwards until you hear a click.
Cleaning the dust tank:
Turn the dust container clockwise to unlock the
container from the main body. Wash the dust tank
with a sponge soaked in washing up liquid, rinse it
with hot water and dry it with a soft cloth.
To replace the dust tank, place it with the release
button facing you and turn it counter clockwise.
Note: ensure that the pins are properly inserted in the
notches of the tank when you place the tank on the
appliance.
Cleaning the set of filters:
The set of filters set consists of a cylindrical plastic
pre-filter (P), an intermediate sponge filter (O) and a
third filter (N).
The set of filters should be washed once a month for
optimal performance. Otherwise, if the filters are too
clogged, the suction performance will decrease.
The set of filters is locked to the internal motor
output of the appliance.
To unlock it, turn the filter set counter clockwise.
Remove the three levels of filters, dust off the filters
with a soft brush and rinse the filters with lukewarm
water.
Dry them with a clean cloth and allow them to air dry
for 24 hours.
To reassemble the set of filters, insert the
intermediate sponge filter over the third filter, and
place the assembled third filter into the plastic pre-
filter.
Lock the set of filters to the motor outlet of the
appliance by turning it clockwise making sure that
the pins of the pre-filter are properly inserted in the
notches of the appliance. The set of filters is securely
locked when you hear the locking click.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damages, rinse filters ONLY
with water. DO NOT use soap. Allow filters to dry for
at least 24 hours before placing them back in the
vacuum cleaner to prevent water from being sucked
into the electrical components.
Do not use hot water or detergents to wash the
filters. If the filters are damaged, replace them with
Zanussi brand filters. Do not attempt to use the
product without reassembling the filters.

charging base:
Use a soft cloth to clean the surfaces of the
appliance and the charging base.
Cleaning the accessories:
Wash the accessories (nozzle and sofa brush) with a
sponge soaked in washing up liquid, rinse them with
hot water and then dry them with a soft cloth.
Appliance storage:
The vacuum cleaner and accessories should always
be stored on the charging base. When not in use for
a long time, unplug the AC adapter from the power
outlet.
Make sure you always unplug the
appliance before cleaning it.
The appliance, the charging base and the
AC adapter must not be immersed in
water. Never immerse the AC adapter
and its plug into water or other liquid. Do
