NOTES ON USE
SELECTING THE EXTA LIFE OR EXTA FREE SYSTEM
● To select the system, press
the “P2” button under the bat-
tery cover (the button is on
the left when looking at the
back of the remote control).
● To select the right system,
shortly press (0.5 s) the “P2”
button.
Standard functionality
● the remote control is used to control EXTA LIFE or EXTA FREE sys-
tem receivers,
● the EXTA LIFE or EXTA FREE system is selected using an additional
button under the battery cover,
● once the system is selected, all remote control buttons only support
the selected system (it is not possible for some buttons to control both
EXTA LIFE and EXTA FREE receivers at the same time),
● operation of individual buttons of the remote control depends on the
type of receiver paired with the buttons (e.g. after pairing with ROP-
01/02 or ROM-01/10 receivers, the buttons can be used to switch on/
off the lights, and after pairing with SRP-02/03 roller shutter control-
lers, they can be used to close/open shutters),
● individual buttons can be assigned to more than one receiver at the
same time,
● if one remote control has to control more than one receiver, the rec-
ommended operation mode is “on/off” mode (example: button is
used for turning on, while button for turning off, or vice versa).
Operation with the EFC-01 controller and the EXTA LIFE app
(only applies to the remote control that operates EXTA LIFE devices)
With the EFC-01 controller and the EXTA LIFE app, you can:
● assign individual remote control buttons to selected receivers without
accessing them (no need to press the PROG. button),
● use remote control buttons to start scenes,
● use remote control buttons as a condition for executing a logic func-
tion,
● receive information that the battery in the remote controller has to be
replaced.
To benefit fron these features, you must add the remote control to the
controller first.
