OPERATION
● Only the and buttons are used for basic control. Pressing these
buttons when the button is pressed and held performs additional
functions as shown in Fig. 1.
● After pressing the , button or a combination of the + , + but-
tons, the remote control sends a radio signal to the components of
the selected system. The remote control LED will blink: green for the
EXTA LIFE system and red for the EXTA FREE system. The receiver
similarly indicates that the signal has been received. To ensure cor-
rect interpretation of the signal from the remote control, the receiver
must be paired with the remote control first. The pairing method (en-
tering individual buttons into the receiver’s memory) is described in
user’s manuals for individual EXTA LIFE / EXTA FREE receivers. The
remote control sends a radio signal only when the button is pressed/
released. If the button is held, the radio signal is not sent. This pre-
vents the battery from being discharged too quickly.
