Immediately turn off the engine, set the parking brake, carefully exit the vehicle, and
block the rear tires with wheel chocks or blocks of wood to prevent the vehicle from
rolling while being serviced.

Remove the two Pins (part #1) from each Turn Table. (See Figures B, C, and Assy.
Diagram.)
7.
Turn the steering wheel of the vehicle as far to the right as possible, and hold the
steering wheel while another person takes an accurate reading (in 0 to 45 degree
increments) from the Scale Plate (part #2) of each Turn Table.
8.
Compare the readings taken from the Scale Plate (part #2) of each Turn Table.
9.
Turn the steering wheel of the vehicle as far to the left as possible, and hold while
another person takes an accurate reading (in 0 to 45 degree increments) from the
Scale Plate (part #2) of each Turn Table.
10.
Compare the readings taken from the Scale Plate (part #2) of each Turn Table.
