necessary between the camera and the encoder. The KEL ribbon cable provides the following

Connection to a Generic HDMI Camera

A Micro-HDMI port is also available on the Interface Front End PCB of the HE4K-DCK-1X. If both HDMI and
KEL connections are detected, the system will default to the HDMI connection.
