Initial Wi-Fi Setup

Power down the encoder and plug the Wi-Fi adapter into the USB slot on the camera. Then power on
the encoder. The device will boot up and you will see the green indicator LED on the Wi-Fi stick
flashing.

If there are no saved networks or none of the saved networks are currently available the device will
enter Access Point (AP) mode. In this mode it will create a wireless network from the product name
and ethernet mac address of the unit. The default password for this netwo
rk is “z3password”. To
connect to this network, connect to the network from your PC.

Once connected you can find the encoder with the ZFinder application. Select the encoder from the
list click “Open Device”. This will bring up the web interface.
