3. Preparing Enclosures for Brackets
To make it easier to remove the handle, position the PSA1 on its side. Insert the screwdriver on each screw while
holding the corresponding hex nut (found inside the PSA1) with your C-Wrench. The hex nuts can be accessed
without removing the foam on the inside of the enclosure. (Do not remove the foam from the inside of the PSA1).
4. The Array
When all four screws, hex nuts and washers have been removed from each PSA1, ratchet-strap the number of enclosures
to be flown on level ground (as shown below). When strapping the enclosures together, make sure they’re aligned properly.
The PSA1RIGKIT includes a left bracket and a right bracket enabling the PSA1 enclosures to be mounted on
top of each other as well as for installing onto a PSA1FRAMEKIT. It is important to recognize the “L” on the LEFT
side bracket for your PSA1RIGKIT. The LEFT bracket should be installed on the LEFT side of the speaker facing
the front of the cabinet. The “L” will be placed towards the cabinet, leaving it unseen when properly mounted.
NOTE: PSA1s manufactured after February 2012 do NOT need to have the handles removed to
install the PSA1RIGKIT. The newer enclosure’s handles feature built-in threading and will allow the
PSA1RIGKIT to mount directly.
5. Positioning and Aligning the Brackets
An example is shown below of the rigging plates for the Left and Right side brackets. The correct way to mount
the bracket is to keep the “lip” outwards on the top of the enclosure. As shown in the second image below.
