Soldering the transformer to the PCB
Take another look at the circuit diagram.
One side of our transformer is soldered to
two 100nF coupling capacitors. The other side of the transformer is grounded at one
end; the other end of this grounded winding is fed directly to the output.
Note, that the diagram shows two dots above the transformer.
These dots tell us
the polarity or magnetic sense of our transformer and this is important, as this affects
the phase of signals passing through our transformer.
