IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions before use and keep for future reference.
2. Only use the device on a flat, stable water and heat-resistant
surface. Make sure the appliance has at least 20 cm of free space
from the sides and at least 30 cm from the top.
3. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated
on the rating label.
4. When using an extension cord, ensure you do not exceed its
maximum rated running wattage / load.
5. To protect against fire, electrical shock and injury do not immerse cord,
plug or unit in water or other liquids.
6. This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or those, who lack
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. It is imperative that children do not
play with this device. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by
children without proper supervision.
7. Do not use the coffee machine or water dispenser with empty water
reservoirs, as it might damage the device.
8. During operation, do not put hands, other body parts, or any objects in
the water reservoir or the jug.
9. Exercise caution especially when the device is used near or by children.
10. Keep the device and its power cord away from children under 8 years
old.
11. Keep the device away from sources of humidity, heat or direct
sunlight.
12. Do not allow the power cord to hang off the edge of the table or to
touch hot surfaces.
