DESCALING THE HOT WATER DISPENSER
1. Fill the water reservoir with a solution of water and descaler to the
“MAX” level (water to descaler
ratio should be 4:1, details on preparation of the solution should be on the descaler).
As a replacement for traditional descaler, you may also use citric acid (ratio of water to citric acid
should be 100:3) or vinegar.
2. Turn on the unit using the button. Wait for the readiness indicator to light up.
3. Press a cup to the dispenser lever and fill it up to about 1/3 of its capacity. Leave the device
for 30 minutes.
4. Pour the contents of the reservoir into a cup. When liquid is no longer visible on the measure, turn
the device off and allow it to cool down completely.
5. Pour remaining liquid out into a sink by removing the plug located at the bottom. Push the plug
back in.
6. Fill the reservoir with clean water to the
“MAX” level.
7. Execute 2 pouring cycles with 30-minute breaks.
8. Carefully clean, rinse and dry off your cup.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
The coffee machine
does not prepare coffee
There is no water in the reservoir. Pour water into the reservoir.
Coffee is ground too finely. Use medium-ground coffee.
Too much coffee in the filter. Fill the filter with less coffee.
The device is not turned on or not
plugged in.
Plug the device in or turn it on.
Internal tubing is blocked. Execute the descaling procedure.
Water is leaking from
the jug lid
The jug is placed in the coffee
machine incorrectly.
Adjust the position of the jug
so that its center is directly above
the water outlet port.
Water level in the reservoir
exceeded the
“MAX” level.
Pour water into the water reservoir
only to the “MAX” level marked
in the reservoir.
Sour (vinegary) coffee
taste
The unit was not properly cleaned
after descaling.
Clean the unit according
to the instructions in the
“FIRST
USE” section.
Ground coffee was stored in a hot,
damp place for a long time. Its
quality has worsened.
Use fresh coffee. After opening,
close it tightly and store in a dry,
cool place to keep it fresh.
