Outdoor Unit
Outdoor unit should be installed on a solid foundation. A soft foundation will increase noise and vibration.
Make sure that no barriers blocks the vent or restrict air flow to the Outdoor unit.
If you are near the ocean, do not install the Outdoor unit in an elevated area where the wind is more powerful.
High wind can cause the fan to not function correctly. You can mount the outdoor unit onto an exterior wall, or
use a wind baffle to minimize exposure to high winds.
Preventing wind to blow directly into the Outdoor unit, especially in locations with high winds.
Make sure there are no barriers, which may block dispersing heat.
If you choose a wall mounted installation, the wall the Outdoor unit is mounted to should be composed of solid
brick, concrete, or other equally solid structure. If that is not possible, please reinforce, stabilize, and secure the
solar air conditioner mounting brackets.
If you do not use YMGI’s mounting brackets, the mounting frame should be sufficiently made to bear the load of
the Outdoor unit, and be corrosion resistant, as well as being designed for convenient installation and
maintenance. The Outdoor unit frame should be able to withstand the weight above 400lbs. Steel components
must be welded firmly, accept anticorrosive treatment, and satisfy any national and local laws and codes.
The foot of the Outdoor unit should be fixed with M8 or M10 bolt.
