CONFIGURATION
The Yellow Heat burner consumes about 2/3rds of the oil pumped to the burner head. The rest of
the oil must flow back to the oil storage tank. If the burner is located higher than the oil storage
tank, the return flow may be by gravity return. If the burner is installed at a lower elevation than
the top of the oil storage tank (plus 8”), the return stream needs to be pumped back to the tank.
