Connecting a Mobile Phone via Bluetooth
Bluetooth enables low-bandwidth wireless connections within a range of 10 meters (32 feet). The best
performance is in the range of 1 to 2 meters (3 to 6 feet).
You can pair and connect the Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone with your phone. After connection, you can
do the following:
• Make and receive mobile calls on the phone
• Use the phone as a Bluetooth speaker for your mobile phone to play music.
• Merge the calls on your phones, the PC and connected mobile phone into a hybrid UC conference

Activating the Bluetooth Mode
You should activate the Bluetooth mode first when you need to connect the Bluetooth device to your
phone.
Procedure

Pairing and Connecting the Bluetooth-enabled Mobile Phone
The phone cannot scan the Bluetooth devices, so you have to pair and connect the phone from your
Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.
Before you begin
Make sure you have activated the Bluetooth mode and made the phone discoverable.
Procedure
1.
Scan and pair the phone from the Bluetooth-enable mobile phone (the default device name of your
phone is "Yealink-CP930W").
