PROPERTIES OF THE DEVICE
The laser distance meter is a device which permits to measure distance by means of a laser beam. Measure-
ments are realised in a straight line. Due to sophisticated functions it permits direct measurements, indirect
measurements and calculations of the surface and volume of interiors. It is recommended to operate the
device in the interiors.
ATTENTION! The laser distance meter is not a measurement device as construed in the „Measurement
Law”.
EQUIPMENT
The laser distance meter is provided complete and does not require assembly. To ensure correct functioning,
it is only required to install batteries.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Never direct the laser beam towards people or animals. Do not look directly into the laser beam. The laser is
classified into class II, it emits a 635 nm wave, and its maximum power is 1 mW. Such a beam does not imply
any danger, but directed into an eyeball it may cause sight damage. Do not dismantle the device yourself,
which may expose you to the laser radiation. Do not modify the device, and particularly the laser system.
Do not use the device if the ambient temperature exceeds the working range. In case the device is stored
at a temperature beyond the working range, before you proceed to operate the device it must reach a tem-
perature within the working range.
Do not expose the device to water, including precipitations. Do not place the device along with other tools in
a tool box. Shocks may damage the laser distance meter.
The device must be transported in the provided case.
In case the device is stored for a prolonged time, the battery must be removed. Do not store the device in a
temperature exceeding 60
O
C, which might damage the LCD display.
The device must be cleaned with a soft, clean and slightly wet cloth.
