When opening the inverter cover, both cover supports must be fully engaged to secure the
cover in the upward position. An unsecured cover could fall down and injure nearby
personnel.
When replacing the cover, all 5 latches must be secured to maintain the enclosure rating.
This prevents water from entering the enclosure that could potentially damage the
equipment. Damage due to water is not covered under warranty.
With the cover removed, the inverter is ready for wiring, as shown in Figure 3-8.
