Grease Replenishment for B-axis
(Refer to

Replenish the grease in accordance with the following procedure:
1. Remove the low head socket head cap screw M6 from the grease inlet
and the plug M5 from the exhaust port.
2. Install the grease zerk A-MT6 x 1 to the grease inlet. (The grease zerk
is packed with the manipulator on the shipment.)
3. Inject grease into the grease inlet using a grease gun.
– Grease type:
Harmonic Grease SK-1A
– Amount of grease:
5 cc
4. Move the B-axis for a few minutes to discharge excess grease.
5. Wipe the discharged grease with a cloth. Remove the grease zerk
from the grease inlet. Reinstall the screw M6 to the grease inlet and
the plug M5 to the exhaust port.
Apply Three Bond 1206C on the thread parts of the plug/screw.

NOTE
• If grease is injected with the screw on, the grease will leak
inside the motor and may cause a damage. Make sure to
remove the screw before the grease injection.
• Do not install a joint, a hose, etc. to the grease exhaust
port. Failure to observe this instruction may result in
damage to the motor due to coming off of an oil seal.
NOTE
The exhaust port is used for air exhaust, and the grease is
not exhausted from the exhaust port. Do not inject
excessive grease through the grease inlet.
