PRE-OPERATION CHECK

WARNING

●

Neglecting to carry out checks or
maintenance may cause an accident
or other problems. Be sure to carry
out regular checks and maintenance
of your Snowblower.

●

For safe use, conduct checks
according to your own knowledge
and ability. Consult your Yamaha
dealer about any check-related
issues that you deem beyond your
ability to manage.
When conducting checks or mainte-
nance, be aware of safety issues
and observe the following points.

• Conduct checks or maintenance on

a level, flat and solid area.

• When conducting checks or mainte-

nance, stop the engine and remove
the engine switch key.

• The engine and muffler will still be

very hot immediately after the
engine is stopped. Conduct checks
or maintenance after the engine and
muffler have completely cooled
down.

• If any abnormalities are discovered,

carry out maintenance by yourself
or have a Yamaha dealer perform it
for you.

CHECK BEFORE USE

For safe and comfortable use of your Snow-
blower, always check the following items
before use.

Sufficient amount of fuel 

•

Engine oil and transmission oil level

•

Auger conditions

•

Handlebar for looseness or play

•

Operation of starter motor

•

Engine for poor starting or abnormal
noise

Auger clutch and drive clutch for opera-

Any troubles noticed when previously
