CHECKING THE FUEL HOSES AND FUEL
FILTER
The following procedure applies to all of the fuel
hoses.
1.Remove:

rider seat

fuel tank
Refer to “RIDER AND PASSENGER
SEATS” and “FUEL TANK”.

2. Remove:

left side cover

right side cover

3. Remove:

rear inner cover

4. Check:

fuel hose

Cracks / damage

Replace.

fuel filter

Damage / dirt

Replace.

Drain and flush the fuel tank if abrasive dam-
age to any components of the fuel line is evi-
dent.

The arrow mark

on the fuel filter should face

to the side of the fuel pump

5. Install:

rear inner cover

6. Install:

left side cover

right side cover
