NOTE:

Apply locking agend (LOCKTITE

) to the

threads of the locknut

e. Loosen the locknut

on the accelerator

cable.

f. Turn the adjusting nut

until the specified throttle cable free play

is obtained.

g. Tighten the locknut

NOTE:

_

If the specified throttle cable free play cannot
be obtained on the throttle body side of the
cable, use the adjusting nut on the handlebar
side.

h. Install the fuel tank and seat.

Refer to “FUEL TANK” and “SEAT AND
SIDE COVERS”.
