Drive belt slack adjustment

A

the
engine
and other vital parts, and one that is tool
loose can skip and damage the awlngarm
or

use
an accident. Therefore, keep
the
drive
bett
slack
within the specified limits.
Measure the drive belt slack when the engine is cold,
and when the drive belt is dry.

Stand the motorcycle on a level surface.

Securely support the motorcycle so that
there

Piace the motorcycle on a sidestand.

Rotate the rear wheel several times and
check
the
drive belt to locate its tightest point.

Measure the drive belt slack when the drive*lt

been pushed with

a belt tension gauge.

Adjust:
Piace the motorcycle on

suitable stand so that the
rear wheel is elevated.

Loosen the wheel axle nut
